“I was happy to meet with this bright group of civics students from East Alton – Wood River High School at the Capitol this morning before session,” said Rep. Elik. “I hope they enjoyed their day in Springfield.”
The group was Juniors and Seniors from EAWR High School who toured the Capitol during their visit to Springfield. Elik answered some questions from the group about what it’s like being a legislator and wished them well in their future endeavors.
