The Illinois Supreme Court has upheld a Sangamon County Judge’s ruling, which stops the Democrats’ plan to change the rules for ballot access in the middle of an election cycle.
“The Illinois Supreme Court ruling underscores a fundamental principle of fairness: election rules should not be altered in the midst of an election,” said Rep. Elik. “Changing the rules halfway through undermines the integrity of our electoral process.”
