Elik & Local Leaders Cut Ribbon at Wedge Innovation Center

Rep. Amy Elik joined local leaders at the ribbon cutting for the Wedge Innovation Center in Alton. Construction on The Wedge began December 7, 2022. Nearly 200,000 hours of labor was spent on the renovation of the Wedge over about 28 months of construction. Labor accounts for about 65% of the total cost of renovation, which stands at $33 million.

The facility features a range of amenities, including shared workspaces, private offices, multi-office suites, conference rooms, a gym with locker rooms, retail spaces, and a rooftop terrace. The Wedge will offer diverse programming, services and opportunity such as professional development programs addressing both personal and professional growth needs for members and non-members.
