In their newly released 2023 Legislative Scorecard, the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) reports that Rep. Amy Elik has voted 100% in line with small and midsize manufacturers on 7 key pieces of legislation that impacts manufacturing.
In order to score perfectly, the Elik’s voting record showed she agreed with TMA’s positions on behalf of small and midsize manufacturers on key legislation 100% of the time during the 2023 Illinois legislative session.
“I’m so proud of my strong record supporting small and midsize businesses. The work TMA does to advocate for local businesses is invaluable. I’m honored to be recognized with my voting record, and I’ll continue to support small and midsize businesses throughout the 111th district,” said Elik.
TMA’s Legislative Scorecard tracked lawmakers’ votes on HB3129 (Mandated Pay Scale Posting), HB1122 (Freelance Worker Protection Act), HB2862 (Temporary Labor Services Act), HB219 (Punitive Damages—Wrongful Death Lawsuits), HB2473 (Nuclear Energy), HB218 (Deceptive Practices with Firearms), and SB1996 (Manufacturing Mentorship Program).
