Representative Amy Elik joined local leaders in Granite City as they celebrated the opening of the new Neon Sign Park. This is another of the many attractions along historic Route 66 in antipation for the centennial celebration of the Route in 2026. The park is located on the corner of 19th and Delmar in Granite City.
“What a fun night,” says Elik. “Granite City debuted the phenomenal Route 66 electric sign park, with hundreds of people in attendance to enjoy the food trucks, band, and of course the sign lighting! This event exceeded everyone’s expectations and was just an absolutely fantastic and fun evening.”
Elik congratulated Granite City, Great Rivers and Routes Tourism Bureau, and other local leaders who contributed to this project.
